Prof. Dr. Tarık Esen
- He conducted investigations at Urology Clinic, Mannheim School of Medicine, Heidelberg University from 1996 to 1998.
- He made studies in the field of Urooncology at Mayo Clinic in 1997.
- He was awarded the title of “Associate Professor” in 1994 and “Professor” in 2000 at School of Medicine, İstanbul University
- He was the chairman of Turkish Urological Association from 2006 to 2008.
- He was member of Board, European Association of Urology, from 2003 to 2013.
- He is Head of Department of Urology, American Hospital since 2002.
- He had been the Deputy Dean in the School of Medicine of Koç University from 2014 to 2017.

- Urooncology (bladder, prostate, kidney, testis, adrenal gland cancers),
- Robotic surgery,
- Laparoscopic surgery,
- Lower urinary system complaints in men (BPH),
- Urinary system stone disease,
